Michael Walsh brings over 40 years of litigation experience to the firm, specializing in criminal defense litigation at both the trial and appellate levels in State and Federal Courts. He has been repeatedly selected as a Super Lawyer in the Criminal Defense field.
His practice includes representing individuals charged with the most serious offenses. He has handled cases and investigations in numerous jurisdictions, including New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, California, Oregon, Hawaii, Alabama, and all districts of Illinois.
He is licensed in Illinois and is a former member of the Illinois Capital Litigation Bar Panel. Mr. Walsh is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where he is a member of its Trial Bar. He has also been admitted as a regular and pro hac vice member in numerous U.S. district and state courts nationwide, and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Mr. Walsh earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1980 and holds an A.B. in History from Dartmouth College (1977).
